We recently purchased our sweet shih tzu pup whom we’ve named Lucy from Debbie at Irongate Kennel and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! The second we saw our new fur-baby online we had an instant connection and knew we had to have her. I contacted Debbie and she responded so quickly and was so professional to work with! Lucy had to travel all the way to Austin Tx to get to us- Debbie made sure she used a pet transport she trusted would get her here to us safe. She also came with all paperwork as promised. I took Lucy to the vet the day after she arrived to ensure she was healthy and the vet stated she has been a very well taken care of pup! It’s always worrisome doing business online but I would never hesitate with Irongate Kennel- the whole experience was top-notch!

A woman that I work with referred me to Debbie after she bought a poodle recently. I am so grateful that she sent me to Irongate Kennel! My mom is battling breast cancer and going through radiation treatments, so being able to adopt a puppy for her was a wonderful surprise, just in time for Christmas. Debbie was so helpful, professional, and kind to work with. We drove over nine hours roundtrip to pick up Jack, and I never would have done that if I wasn't sure about who I was buying from. She did not disappoint, and I hope to buy from her again!

I spent literally MONTHS joining Facebook groups and searching for the right puppy for our family. I even joined another group about puppy scammers and was highly paranoid about how many people had received fake photos, sick dogs, paid deposits & never received a dog, etc. I asked lots of questions and Debbie answered each one thoroughly. She sent pics, videos and we even facetimed so we could see her face-to-face, and there sat our little baby in her lap. All our worries melted away.
We live 4 ½ hours away but finding the right puppy, that we knew had been well cared for, was top priority. While we paid extra to meet her halfway, we could immediately tell that she was clean, organized and took great care of her puppies.

I recently referred a coworker to her and they were super impressed with the process and communication as well.

I will continue to refer anyone looking for a puppy to Debbie at Irongate Kennels. Customer service and communication goes a long way no matter what business you are in. We love our little teacup girl. You could tell from her personality that she wasn’t just a “job” but she was loved and well socialized, and is the best little cuddler!! We are forever grateful that we found Debbie and got such a healthy, loving puppy. No doubt, when looking again in the future, she will be the first person we reach out to! Thank you again!

Irongate Kennel raise not only the cutest furbabies but the sweetest as well! I am so happy we chose them to adopt three very special puppies, 2 mini poodle sisters and a Shih Tzu they were born a day apart and we couldn’t bare to separate them. The Shih Tzu is my baby she is welled loved and always by my side. They make sure to keep up with their health and the pups as the grow up. The two sister poodles are my mom’s and my daughter’s and they couldn’t be more loved. You couldn’t ask for better dogs or breeders!

Irongate Kennel and specifically Debbie is a great person to work with. I would highly recommend Irongate Kennel.
