CONTRACT/HEALTH GUARANTEE

  1. You must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice within (3) business days of purchase. If your puppy in the opinion of the veterinarian has any physical problems considered to be life threatening, we will provide you with a replacement puppy of equal value. If there are no puppies available, one will be provided from the next available litter whelped. If you choose a puppy of greater value, then you will be responsible for the cost difference. To make a claim you must return your puppy to Irongate Kennel within 7 days of purchase at the buyer’s expense. Also, provide a signed statement from the veterinarian proving the date of examination and an explanation as to why the puppy is a poor health risk. The statement must include a description of the symptoms supporting the opinion. There will be no refund on shipping charges and all deposits are non-refundable. Buyer is required to have a licensed veterinarian administer two more puppy vaccinations to said puppy. Parvo and distemper vaccines must be given at two-four week intervals following the first vaccines given by breeder. If the buyer fails to have a vet check done within 3 business days or fails to continue vaccinations as stated above, the parties agree that any guarantee will be considered null and void. Keep shot records from your vet.

    NOTE: There is no warranty against Hypoglycemia, Coccidia, Hip or Joint problems, Parasites, Cherry Eye, Viral/Bacterial Infections or any Skin disorders because there are too many variables to why some of these problems can occur that are not just heredity induced. Seller cannot be responsible for Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or the effect of any stress related illness due to travel/rehoming. Buyer must make certain that their new puppy eats and gets plenty of rest.
  2. Your puppy has a one year limited life warranty. Should the puppy die of a birth defect within one year of the time of purchase Irongate Kennel will provide a replacement puppy of equal value. To qualify for the warranty, you must have kept the puppy under the care of a licensed veterinarian. The care must include all vaccinations recommended by the veterinarian. If said puppy dies the buyer must have an autopsy performed by a licensed vet and results of the report must be sent to the seller and signed by the veterinarian. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred.

    NOTE: Failure to have the puppy examined within (3) three business days of purchase VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES.

    NOTE: There is no guarantee that this puppy can be shown or bred.

    NOTE: There is no guarantee on the color or size of puppy now or as an adult.
  1. If a puppy is being returned for any health warranty claim, you must return all registration papers. Registration papers must be signed transferring ownership back to Irongate Kennel. Irongate Kennel will not be held responsible for any costs accrued after the sale is final.
  2. Guarantee is not valid in case of accidental death or injury.
  3. Guarantee is not valid if said dog has been used for breeding.
  4. All sales are final, except as provided in the Warranty described herein.
  5. If at some time or for any reason you experience a situation that would make it difficult for you to keep the dog and can not find a suitable home, we require the dog be returned to Irongate Kennel. This is not an agreement to purchase the dog, it is to ensure
    the dog goes to a loving, qualified home.
  6. This document, including the warranty, shall be interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws and statutes of the State of Missouri.
  7. The venue for any litigation concerning this warranty shall be Missouri District Court in and for Phelps County, Missouri, under a non-jury proceeding.
  8. I have read, understand and agree to the terms of this document, including the warranty provisions.
